The U.S. issues a security alert for its citizens in Saudi Arabia due to "possible air attacks."

 

The U.S. Embassy and consulates in Saudi Arabia issued a security alert for U.S. citizens on Tuesday due to the security situation in the country.

"Due to the current security situation in Saudi Arabia and potential drone or missile attacks against Saudi Arabia, the U.S. Mission strongly advises all U.S. citizens to remain vigilant," the diplomatic mission stated.

It also urged citizens to follow the instructions contained in national alerts issued by Saudi Civil Defense.
