Iran war costs US $43.6 billion

 The conflict with Iran cost American taxpayers $43.6 billion as of September 3, according to a report from the Central Command (CENTCOM), whose area of operational responsibility primarily includes the Middle East and North Africa.

According to Punchbowl News, which reviewed the report, $11.2 billion was spent on operations, $28.1 billion on replenishing ammunition, and $4.3 billion on replacing lost equipment.

Earlier, the Congressional Budget Office said that the conflict with Iran would cost Americans $2-3 billion per month, while $38 billion had already been spent in the first five months of the war.
